A Business Incubator for West Suffolk: A Feasibility Study [ 0.006 ] The Suffolk Development Agency in collaboration with partner organisations within West Suffolk commissioned DTZ Pieda Consulting to carry out a study of the feasibility of establishing and operating an Incubation or Innovation Centre in West Suffolk. One of the key drivers behind this work is the framework and action plan for the Cambridge to Ipswich Hi-Tech Corridor, which identified the need to carry out a feasibility study for business incubators at Bury St. Edmunds and Stowmarket for a mix of mid and hi-tech start-up businesses. The Action Plan identified that there was limited physical infrastructure within parts of the corridor to support business start-ups, and this was thought to be particularly true of the rural hinterlands, which encompasses West Suffolk.
